1) Sherlock Holmes   (DVD)

I didn't think this movie would be so good.  Who would've known a blockbuster film could be so thought provoking and intriguing!

2) The Book of Eli (Movies)

Off the hook!  Denzel and the Hughes Brothers went in on this one!

3) Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps

Favorite Movie of the Year- Don's Sleep!

4) Inception

2nd Favorite of the year.  Chris Nolan is officially my favorite director. Now its time for Batman 3!

5) Paranormal Activity

I slept on this. I didn't think it could be as scary as everyone claimed.  Man I was wrong.  This movie creeped me out big time!

6) Paranormal Activity 2

Just as good as the first one-- and distrubing.  The main draw is not the scares though (to met at least).  It is the story-- they story is what will continue to give this series legs.  Can't wait for #3- even if I am looking away from the screen for most of the film (I'm kidding...um, yeah, I didn't mean that. ...)

7) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

The most original, creative, and fun film I have seen in years

8) The Expendables

Wow.  It delivered.  That's all I can say.

9) Mystery Team (DVD)

This was a sporadic rental.  Don't know what I expected from this-- but definitely not for it to be my favorite comedy of 2010, and possibly one of my all time favorites-- it was great!

10) The Secret in Their Eyes (DVD)

Loved this film.  Very subtle and like a Chris Nolan flick, it is very heavy on thematic storytelling and will stick with you after you finished viewing it.

11) The Prophet

Raw. My favorite foreign film since City of God.  Definitely teetering on classic status.

12) Toy Story 3 (movie)

I've been waiting for this film for years.  And it was worth the wait!

13) Splice

I heard about the film.  Wasn't interested.  Friends saw it over the summer and told me everything about the film-- everything they told me only discouraged me more from seeing it.  But then I kept hearing more about it... and finally heeded to curiosity, and I was amazed at how layered this film is.  Definitely a film you have to see to really be able to appreciate-- and just do not have any expectactions for it-- just see it for what it is.  It is the best way to really get it because whatever you think it is, I guarantee you it's not.
